About me

I started research writing in 2021, under the name Pen of Wonder. Before that I studied biochemistry at McPherson University and graduated top of my class, department and faculty.

Most of what I know, I learned by doing. At NIFE Writing Consult I was lead research writer, turning analysis into reports people could use. At ADAC Data Consult I designed and led a six-month field study and trained the field researchers who collected the data. That taught me how much a paper depends on decisions made long before anyone writes a word. In 2025, as Head of Academy at Ileoja Academy, I designed curricula and supported students, and learned the difference between teaching someone and telling them.

Also in 2025, a review I co-authored on sildenafil and multi-drug resistance in breast cancer was published in AIMS Medical Science. It reminded me how much persistence and collaboration one paper takes. Cancer research, especially breast cancer, is where my own curiosity lives now.

I care about this work because good research is wasted if it never gets published, or gets published badly. Most researchers I work with don’t need someone to think for them. They need a careful reader who knows what journals expect.
